MATH COMEDY

Let me tell you a joke.

3 Mathematicians are out hunting when they suddenly stumble across a deer.

The first mathematician takes aim and overshoots. The second mathematician takes aims and undershoots. The third mathematician leaps in excitement and screams “We got him!”

Are you laughing yet? I hope so, because this joke forms the basis of my short story submission for the NYC Midnight Story Story Challenge. I have exactly 8 days to formulate, write and submit a short story of 2,500 words based on 3 criteria:

• Genre- Comedy.

• Subject- A disguise.

• Character- A Mathematician.

I have a feeling that this week’s writing may get a silly!
